The enchanting island of Sri Lanka is a world of extremes. Parched lowlands are home to the largest leopards in the world, and the greatest gathering of elephants in Asia. Cloud forests cling to towering mountains, swathed in mist and mystery. Steamy jungles teem with bizarre creatures found nowhere else on earth and thousands of lakes hide ferocious crocodiles. These six films tell engaging stories featuring some of the island’s most iconic characters, all set against a backdrop of spectacular landscapes and dramatic weather.

Behind the Scenes

I spent six weeks in Sri Lanka shooting an episode for the Island of Monsoon series called, 'From Coast to Coast'. I also shot a couple of scenes for the, 'Web of Life' Episode too. We were predominantly working in the jungle which was a nightmare for keeping all the kit dry. Below I'm protecting the Sony F55 and Canon CN20 lens below my poncho.
