I have various gimbals from the Movi Pro which can take a Red with cine zooms or the DJI Ronin MX which can be attached to the heavy lift drone all the way down to the tiny 4k DJI Pocket.
Freefly Movi Pro
When doing gimbal work I prefer to work with the best equipment out there. The Movi Pro is incredible in many ways. It's light weight carbon fibre construction means you can operate litterally for hours. The strong motors and erganomical design are a winning combination in whatever situation you are in.
DJI Ronin MX
Another favourite of mine is the DJI Ronin MX. This versatile rig can take a Red or lighter weight cameras and can be connected straight up to the DJI Matrice 600 Pro for aerials. I've used this kit in a lot of situations, in particular on a Netflix series where we needed to go from land based gimbal moves straight to aerials over the sea ice in the northern Arctic. All gimbals struggle in extreme cold however I was impressed with the way the Ronin MX/M600Pro handled temperatures around -27 to -30 degrees C.
DJI OSMO POCKET
How do you capture moments worth keeping? As the smallest 3-axis stabilized handheld camera DJI has ever designed, the compact and intelligent Osmo Pocket turns any moment into a cinematic memory. In just seconds, Osmo Pocket lets you share your life anywhere, anytime.
The perfect tool for great behind the scenes footage.
